its getting worse

i was diagnosed with mild anxiety when i was younger. and for the past month I’ve been have anxiety attacks every night and they just get worse every time. i just had one and it lasted about 30 minutes. i hate this feeling i almost couldn’t get through this one, my mom thinks that i should see a doctor for help because i cant handle them anymore. i know that the doctor is gonna suggest medication and i don’t want that, does the medication actually help?

edit: i have tried everything to help these attacks, meditating, cbd gummies, the “touch feel taste”, distracting myself and nothing works anymore so this is the onlt other option i think.
