Has anyone ever got a negative on the cheap hcg strips and a positive on an first response?

I haven't but it depends on when you take the test and how much miu/ml the test has. The most sensitive tests are 20-25 miu/ml which can be taken 5 days before you first period. If you took something weaker and it came out negative that's because it's too far from AF and it's a weaker test than 25 miu/ml. If that makes sense?
