Omg I started mine last night! I was SO scared alllll day. Mixing was the scariest part in the end. We had to face time the on call nurse at 9:30 hahahhaa. 
I laid down and iced my belly and my hubby was done in less than a minute with three shots!! It was so fast and I felt super silly for being so worked up haha. 
You’ll be fine!! I do recommend icing!!

You are strong, you got this! Those injections are NOTHING to stand in the way of you starting your family. And if I can do it, I’m convinced literally anyone can!
It won’t hurt nearly as much as you think it will. You probably won’t even feel the needles enter your tummy. I don’t feel them and I came into this process with a terrible fear of needles that I’ve had all my life...IVF has cured me of that to be sure. I ask myself every morning, how bad do I want this? And then I get on with it!
I found that the “scary part” is just getting the needle in. We have a very subconscious fear of foreign objects entering our bodies cause that’s not typically supposed to happen. But once you get over that it’s a piece of cake!
I like to get my injection and injection sight ready then I “assume the position” by hovering the needle over the injection sight and then I look away as I insert the needle. I found that part is a lot easier if I hum a song to myself. Gets my brain focused on the song and not the needle. Also with your “pinch hand” once you let go, gently tap your tummy with your fingers on the opposite side of your injection. It will also take focus away from the injection sight. Kind of like when they numb you at the dentist and they tap or pull on your lip as they inject the lidocaine to make it more bearable haha but fret not stims are WAY easier than getting lidocaine shots. 
You can do this, you WILL do this! I believe in you!

Just have a open mind I remember feeling over whelmed when I started stimming. Do stuff that makes you feel good.
