Santeria and Christianity?

Anyone here who used to practice santeria who then converted to Christianity? What made you change? Do you believe that Oshun and Elegua were real or just demons pretending to be deities?

i was raised catholic and i myself went christian, my family does santaria hardcore and i dont think its for the good neither all that dead chicken and stuff no thank you. my mom would go to bullshit santeros thatll tell her lies for money as well. what made me open my eyes was that my mom put this black doll with a white dress and beads sitting in our hallway and stuff around her once she put that i kept having dreams of me trying to open the bible and read it, it was so scary i went to my sister and cried cause when you would come in my house all you felt was darkness like something bad on your shoulder you can sense something really bad in that house, also nothing comes good to my family they think them by doing that good will come but i swear only bad reflects off of the things they do..

Like every religion their are people who expolte it and will take advantage of people when they are in distress. I grew up in a Christian home an as an Adult I converted to Santeria it's the only religion I've found peace in. I don't think any religion is wrong as long, it brings the person practicing peace then that's all that matters. The bible has some beautiful points to it as does the Quran as does the teaching of Santeria. It all comes down to the person and their choices to walk in love and light.
