Help!!! Making my bf upset...

I really don't mean to, I love him to death but I just miss him all the time and have become so clingy. He's a big hunter and I've never dated a hunter before so I'm not used to this. He leaves and when he comes back I'm upset and have an attitude. I don't mean to and I know he loves me and wants to spend time with me and I don't want to keep him from hunting and doing what he loves. I just feel so lonely. Anyone else with a hunter or just feel extra clingy? I feel crazy!
