I'm not sure if it does BUT I will share my experience. I was a HUGE coffee drinker, 6-7 giant mugs a day. When I wasnt getting pregnant, I figured it was the caffeine that caused it. So I cut down to 1-2 mugs a day, no sodas, and I drank more water. I got pregnant a month later and that's honestly the only lifestyle change I made.

It depends on how much you typically have each day. One or two cups of coffee (or something equivalent) is fine. If you’re drinking much more then that, cutting back could be beneficial.

Didn’t make any difference for me when I cut back. (just made me cranky 😂😫). When I finally moved on to a fertility specialist and I asked about caffeine he giggled and said it’s totally fine. He told me just try not to drink 2 pots a day. So I continued drinking my regular coffee (maybe 2-3 cups depending) and went through IVF and had no issues whatsoever:) However- if you feel that it might be effecting you, then totally go with your gut! Everyone’s experience is different. You won’t know unless you maybe cut it out or at least switch and see what happens!☺️ I also drank it in moderation throughout my pregnancy (when I wasn’t put off by it) and had no issues with me or baby 🥰

Been caffeine free since dec 2018. Still not pregnant. Did not make a difference and I was drinking 3 to 4 large cups a day.

I voted yes because that’s what I’ve read. I also ready that there’s some speculation on caffeine intake while pregnant and how it’s been shown to possibly affect melatonin production/ your baby’s circadian rhythm leading to potentially life long insomnia issues for the child. Granted the studies aren’t exactly huge sample sizes and it likely may only ever be something that there may be a potential noticeable correlation of cause it would be incredibly unethical for them to do a legitimate study. But I found it interesting. As someone with insomnia issues myself I cut out caffeine almost entirely since before we started trying to conceive (time me a little to convince the husband to get on board so I started preparing early). Got pregnant the first try. I’m 9m now and have hardly needed or missed it once I got over that hump.
