When to send out invites for a baby shower?

My mom and ain't are throwing Mr a baby shower the first Sat of Feb. my mom is worried if she sends out the invites early they will get lost in the mail during the holidays. is a month enough time to get them out?

I'd send them out a month ahead of the date, gives people plenty of time to plan/request off work if needed & save money for gifts.

About a month before, a ton of my invites got lost in the mail and we aren't even at thanksgiving yet. I had to send info via message to about 10 people.

With it being winter time I would send them out 4-5 weeks in advance. If there's bad weather people will have had plenty of notice to get something and make plans to attend.
