Whenever you want. I’ll probably start after the 20 week scan unless I see something I desperately want.

Whenever you want! I waited on the bigger things until after 25 weeks, but DID set aside money so I was ready to buy them! Highly recommend doing this ... saving $25-50 a week for baby expenses! Especially if it’s your first. That way towards the end you don’t feel like you’re buying EVERYTHING. Also family and friends don’t really get on the bandwagon right away and if you’ve bought everything it leaves nothing for them to help gift you! 
We live in Germany apart from ALL our close friends and family but had some send a little money and grandparents bought the crib and car seat. So that was very helpful! Obviously I understand they’re not going to want to buy those things right away - I think they waited until about 25 weeks to send me money for them. It was a blessing for sure as we didn’t get to have a baby shower with them.

Whenever you want! Honestly I buy things I know I'll need when I see them on sale. I usually go with all gender neutral stuff so I can reuse with other babes other than clothing.

I’ll find out around 13 weeks the gender, so I will start buying baby clothes and things then!
