12 Weeks Pregnant Heavy Bleeding with Clots

Hey ladies,

Has anyone experienced heavy bleeding with clots around 12 weeks pregnant gone on to have a healthy pregnancy? I am currently 12 weeks 4 days pregnant with twins. On Thursday, around 1130 AM. I started bleeding heavily with clots so I immediately called my doctor’s office just before they closed for lunch. They made me an appointment for 2pm for an ultrasound and exam. At the ultrasound both babies had good heartbeats at 169 and 176 and were moving around like crazy. During the exam the doctor said my cervix is soft and the blood is coming from my cervix but could not give me a definite reason why. He took me off work for the weekend and told me to take it easy is having me come back in on Monday. The bleeding slowed considerably to where it was only slight spotting on the toilet paper when I wiped but never on a liner/ pad by Friday and today (Saturday) there has only been a slight brown old blood type spotting on the toilet paper. I found their heartbeats on my home Doppler today. Anyone have a situation like that go on to have a healthy baby?
