When did you start letting your baby sleep with a blanket?

My girls just turned 12 months. They love blankets and I think they might be ready. But I’m still anxious about it. When did you let your baby start sleeping with a blanket?

Around a year as well - as long as they could move it away from their faces it’s no big deal!

My son will be 6 months on the 14th and has slept with a blanket for about 2 months now. We have the air conditioner on at night in our room cause it gets really hot so we cover him up.
He won’t fall asleep without one, he likes to hold, or rub his face with it till he falls asleep 💤.

My son has had a blanket since he was a newborn, we always made sure to have him swaddled at first and to make sure it was never over his face. He’s almost 9 months old and loves having his blanket to hold when he sleeps!

I think around 18 months & only because she grew out of the sleep sacks she had been sleeping in & I didn’t want to buy the next size up

My son is almost 10 months and I put a blanket in his crib, but he usually only plays with it when he wakes up. I covered him last night because he felt a little chilly, but it didn’t last long on him. He sleeps with a lovey or burp rag usually.

Around 18 months because he started asking for one.

He’ll be 2 in a couple weeks and we gave him a blanket a few days ago. He hasn’t quite figured it out yet, but it makes him happy to have it.
