Period cramps worse than normal?

Sasha

I’ve always had bad cramps ever since my first period. Throughout my whole “period life” I’ve found different ways to deal with these pains. So my final solution became ibuprofen. It doesn’t completely help (I know you’re like “obviously”) but it helps to manage.

But recently I’ve noticed that these pains have gotten worse and almost unbearable. I can barely walk , I feel nauseous, and my regular ibuprofen doesn’t even help (I swore I was taking placebos). Is this normal?

I talked to my gynecologist, but I just got a general answer of “period symptoms change all the time, it’ll never be the same”. And that may be true, but I feel I know my body, and these symptoms are extremely worse.
