How to measure or make sure your baby is eating enough ?

His NG tube came out again last night. I’ve been solely breast feeding him since 8pm to current.

He hates the tube and needs a break to be honest.

It destroys his face, causes him to sneeze and cough.

He has caught up a lot on weight since nicu/picu discharge ( 3 weeks ago. )

I eat a lot of oat meal and drink water constantly.

It’s just hard to know he is getting enough food without a way to keep track.

Any suggestions ?

He does tell me when he is hungry.
