It can be. It always looks like more than it actually is, and that pad looks pretty thin. I’d use thicker ones and check it more frequently during your heavy flow times.

I have really heavy periods and they always look this the first 2-3 days. All of u saying it’s not normal are so lucky 😂 HOWEVER, if this is out of the ordinary for YOU, it may be worth getting checked out.

I think its normal considering the pad u used is pretty thin. I bleed on the heavier side and on some periods, i need to switch out of a thick pad every hour. Dont worry too much unless thicker pads still dont work and if it happens all the time xx

This is LITERALLY me EVERY SINGLE MONTH. If you havent looked into it, I would say it's due to endometriosis. My periods can be so heavy that I FAINT! I knew then that it wasnt normal and I begged my husband to let me have the laparoscopic surgery to figure out what's wrong with me. He didnt bat an eye. He knew I was miserable every single day. I would take 16 Ibuprofen almost every day of my life for 5 years. Had the surgery and it wasnt stage 3 but it was past stage 2. Seriously, look into it. I have to carry extra clothes with me every month bc I bleed so bad.
