Break up after 4 years

I have been dating my boyfriend for four years. I have for the past few months not in love with him anymore.  felt awful and I know it couldn't go on any longer. I broke up with my boyfriend tonight and now I'm not sure how to adjust after being together for so long. Any advice for breakups after long term relationships?
