Any mamas have experience with this yet?😥

Today was supposed to be baby girls 6 month well check. But she woke up feeling warm, temp was 100.7 rectally 11am. So I called dr to check if they’d hold off on vaccines. He said yes but what other symptoms is she having? I then remembered she was pulling on her ear a few days prior and mentioned it to my husband. Dr wants us to come in at appt time to check her ears, no well visit. I gave her a dose of Tylenol.

Get there and they check her temp with ear monitor and it’s 99.7 at 1pm. Dr comes in and she has fluid in her ears, he said were probably on day 1 of ear infection. Prescribes amoxicillin.

We get home and she feels really warm. Check her temp 101.9 at 2:30pm. I tried calling dr, office is closed. I get the nurses line.

The rest of the night, she’s bouncing around 101.2-101.5.

She also not handling the amoxicillin, Tylenol and Motrin well, she gags at spits a bunch out 😓 then ended up throwing it all up a bit later, so I’m not sure what all she got!

So my question! What was your course like? What do I have to look forward too? How long should it last?
