Are play teepees cultural appropriation
I was thinking of getting my daughter one. I posted something about it in another group and a couple of people pointed out that they are cultural appropriation.
They don’t really resemble real teepees and they are so common nowadays that I feel like they should be okay. But I’m not a native person, so I can’t speak for them.
I’ve also looked for alternative tents, but it’s hard to find an affordable cotton tent with a small footprint that’s not a teepee!
