Have you heard of these Asian murder hornets making it to the USA?

Has anyone else heard news reports on these Asian murder hornets being in Washington? They’re saying they are very dangerous even if you’re not allergic.

A few weeks ago I caught a hornet in a cup in my house and put it outside. I was shook over this hornet it was HUGE, I've never seen anything like it. Well yesterday I googled the asian hornets and bitch IT WAS AN ASIAN HORENT. I didnt even use a peice of paper I just covered the cup with my hand lol. I feel bad that I let it go though since they kill bees. If I see one again I'm going to kill it despite the fact that I typically dont kill bugs. We need to protect the bees

Yes but I’m not concerned about our bee population. I know they have some pretty awesome defense mechanisms for their hive.
I will say the bees in my yard have made my flowers so nice and pretty I now have 2 different types of hummingbirds coming (I planted humming bird flowers a few years ago and my bee friends helped pollinate them last year. 
I did notice the bees go to my hummingbird feeders too idk why I didn’t think they could get anything from it. But they sure do love my sugar water lol
