Yes we need to slowly start opening the economy back up - people can’t be unemployed indefinitely and it’s unrealistic and impossible to expect people to stay indoors and away from family and friends for an indefinite time

I think people should still take measures to socially distance themselves from most people. Like don’t go sit down at a restaurant, there shouldn’t be concerts yet, etc. But I don’t think it’s reasonable or healthy to tell people to continue to be strictly isolated in their homes indefinitely. 
We’ve been strictly isolating for 8 weeks now and it’s taken a huge toll on our mental health. So last week we went to my parent’s house and isolated there. Next week we’re thinking about having a couple of friends (2 adults and a child) over for a grill-out. We’ll stay outside and not shake hands/hug/etc. And we won’t have them over if we feel even remotely unwell. But we desperately need to spend time with other people.

You need to build your immune system and the only way to do that is to expose your self to germs. I know some people don’t agree and they think that we should stay in are homes. But honestly what does that do to our mental health, our economy,and our lives. Fun fact Stress in NOT good for your immune system. So our states NEED to OPEN now. 
It’s especially worse for kids. Because there lives are NEVER going to be normal again. Just think about it for a moment. If you have kids you definitely need to think about it and how your kids future is going to turn out. 
I know not everyone will agree but PLEASE just sit down and do your research and just think about it.
