Wondering if I have PCOS?
So my period history had not always been the best. When I was a teenager, I'd have pretty irregular periods. Into my early twenties, this continued and I'd be so late as 3 weeks throwing my whole cycle off. When I was 23 I started on antidepressants and for some reason this seemed to help regulate my periods. (my doc had done a full workup, labs, and everything and all of my hormones were stable then). I'm now 26, and stopped my antidepressants in September. Since January, my periods have been weird and I've been having spotting and bleeding in between them. After my period in January I spotted for 2 days. In March, I had a period that started on my predicted date that consisted of brown blood at a light flow that lasted 8 days (my normal period lasts 4) and then a week later I started another period that was more like my usual period. I was supposed to see my doctor but with the COVID situation, that's clearly been postponed. I've not had any pain and my periods normally are not unreasonably painful. My medical coworker friends that I've asked seem to think PCOS but I just don't know what to think. Also should add I've NEVER been on any form of BC. I have a blood clotting disorder, called Factor V Leiden that makes me more susceptible to clots and can't do hormonal BC with it.
