My usual blood pressure range is 115/70. I monitor it everyday at home because I take labetalol and baby aspirin once a day to help control my BP and prevent preeclampsia. I took it last night after resting on the couch for a while and it was 139/88. I messaged the nurse this morning just to let her know that that’s not normal for me, and she said that’s still within a normal range and only message us if it gets up to 140/90. Like is 139/88 not close enough to that?? This nurse works in admin and is not my direct nurse so she doesn’t know my situation. I’m being induced due to hypertension so my dr wants to monitor it closely. I’m just upset I feel like this nurse never listens to me!
