Went to the doctor yesterday (supposed to be 8 weeks + 2) and was told I likely had a missed miscarriage. (I haven't had any cramping, spotting or bleeding). There is a yolk sac and fetal pole but they can't see a heartbeat. They are having me wait a week before coming back in for another ultrasound. At that point we will discuss options if I don't miscarry naturally. Is it bad that I just want to get it over with so I can move on? I feel like waiting a week isn't going to help any and I really don't want to be put through the emotional pain of another ultrasound.
