confused with my birth control

so i started birth control 3 months ago and i’m on my second box that contains 3 months. i’m on the combined pill and the brand is loette. my first pack had placebo pills but now the packs in the new box don’t. why is this? and do i have to do anything differently? also the pack starts with monday but today is friday and the first day of my new pack, does that matter?
