Is volume 40 too loud for Hatch (white noise) sound machine?

Mine is usually between 25-30 but it’s fairly close to his bassinet. When he’s sleeping in his crib I have it around 60 because it’s farther away from him.

Update: I looked at Takingcarababies Instagram story and she said in the womb is about 77-90 dB. I downloaded a dB app and using the Hatch with the dB reader right next to the machine on volume 50 is 88 dB. Not sure I’d go this high since it sounds pretty loud but according to her, that volume is safe and not harmful to LO ears

Depends on room size. My son has the smallest room in the house, I'm not sure of exact measurements..but it's not super tiny, and I have his between 20-25%

Mine is at 45. We are loud enough to help block out noise from the living room but enough to where it’s not blowing her ears out either
