Vitamin D question
A few years ago, my vitamin D level was tested and it was very low. I tried taking a 1,000mg vitamin D supplement but it made me feel crazy, I don't know how else to explain it. Almost like rapid heart rate, uncomfortable in my own skin, I don't know. I was scared and didn't try vitamin D again for a year, and found the smallest dose possible and tried that. Felt the same crazy feeling again. So I decided to just forget it, I guess my level will just be low. What was I doing wrong? Do I need to take it alongside another vitamin? I googled it over the years, and found so many things. From "you have to take it with vitamin k2" to "you need to take it with magnesium" but I just don't know. I know this is a question for the dr, I just wonder if anyone went through the same experience?
-i know I can get some vitamin D from the sun, and certain foods/drinks, but is it enough to make up for a deficiency?
