Low progesterone at 8 weeks

Hi Everyone!

I am currently 8w5d with my second baby and had my first ultrasound and lab work done at 8wk0d. The ultrasound looked great, measuring right on track and strong heartbeat at 167. My doctor called a couple of days ago and let me know that my progesterone level was “a little low” as she said, at 9.76. My hgc level was normal at 55,766. I was prescribed progesterone 200mg orally. She doesn’t want to see me until my next appointment in 2 weeks (I’ll be 11w1d then). Does anyone have any experience with this? Also, with my last pregnancy, my first ultrasound and lab work was done at 9w0d and my progesterone was 17.9. Thank you!
