Hi ladies, looking to get some insight here. I had a mmc at 19 weeks, but doctor said baby likely passed around 14 weeks. I had a d&e 12 days ago. Bled for a couple of days and then nothing. Today, it seems like my period has come back, but it’s a much darker color than normal AF. my midwife said my hcg levels were basically at 0 when we found out we lost the baby two weeks ago, so that it’s likely this is in fact my period.

Has this happened to anyone? Hoping this is AF and not random bleed as I would really like to get back on my normal cycle and try again.
