I've been on Lovenox this whole pregnancy, and switched to Heparin at 36 weeks. I also did this with my entire last pregnancy as well. Today at the injection site I started itching like crazy. I've never experienced that in 2 pregnancies of getting this injection. Is this normal? Tonight was my last dose of Heparin since I'm getting induced tomorrow evening, and after delivery they'll switch me back to Lovenox for 6 weeks. Anyone else out there who is on Heparin experience itching at the injection site?
