Second time C-section is it harder to heal theen the first time?

My first C-SECTION was pretty hard to heal from I had a few issues during the time and it was hard to get back on my feet. Is the first C-section about the same worse or better then the first?

I’ve had two emergency c- sections. The second was a failed VBAC. Both surgeries were rushed and a whirlwind. But the second was way easier as far as recover goes. I knew what to expect. The time it’s a planned c-section...I have fears it won’t go as planned because that’s all I’ve known 😄 Hoping it’s a better experience all around.

My OB specifically said the 2nd in theory should be easier in your body and allow for a quicker healing. I had an emergency c section the first time, so supposedly not laboring at all this time is supposed to make it less painful. Fingers crossed!

I’m wondering how my second one will be too. My first I was put completely under bc I needed to have my gallbladder removed at the same time. A little nervous to be awake this time during it 😬 recovery was a bit easier than my natural birth with my first daughter I thought.

I had a much easier experience for the second one. I barely had any pain at all and I felt like healing went really well. The actual procedure was much harder on me than the first though. I had a lot of really bad nausea that they couldn't get under control and I almost puked while lying on my back. I think it just depends on you. I'm about to have a 3rd c-section and I'm worried because who knows.

I work with a lot of moms post Caesar and it is about 50-50. A lot of moms have had emergency caesars the first time so the second time being planned can be good or bad - some say the planned one is much easier because you’re prepared and it’s not happening in chaos like an emergency one, and others say planned is worse because your mind can work overtime thinking about it. Some also say it’s better the second time because you know what to expect, but that can also be a negative haha. So it’s really up in the air 🤷🏻‍♀️

The first time I had a C-section it was an emergency C-section. It was pretty hard to recover form and hard to get back on my feet after. I had a 2 hr epidural that caused a lot of distress, I was in intense labor, and not too far from pushing by the time they took me back. I passed 6 clots during surgery... It was pretty rough. Seriously hoping this time is better.

Voted never had a csection because I’ve only had one. My first was a scheduled, non-emergency and was a breeze to recover from. Wondering how a second one will be.

Following-my first was emergency csection after getting induced and 20+ hours labor and was a rough recovery. Having a scheduled csection this time and I was wondering if maybe it may be easier recovery since I won’t have the 20+hours of labor leading up
