Anyone’s babe still not standing unassisted?

Tips on how to help him figure it out?? When I try to have him practice standing he just sits down 😂😂 He shows interest in walking/standing, he’s just not great at balancing yet!

My daughter does things on her own time, and when she does it she does it fast!! For example, yesterday she pulled her self up to standing by the couch... then took steps along the ENTIRE COUCH! Not only has she never taken steps along furniture, but she’s also never pulled herself to standing and she just decided she could all of a sudden do both. She was motivated by my cell phone 😂 I kept moving it and she’d step towards it.

I wouldn’t worry! Sounds like he’s right on track. Amelia can only stand  and walk holding on but the other day she had a toy in her hand and she let go and held it with both hands without realising she was doing it 😂 I think they’ll get there in their own time. It all happens so fast too. A month ago she was just sitting couldn’t even crawl if he’s trying to walk he’s probably not far away 😊

My daughter loves playing with empty boxes, like most babies on here I'm sure.  When she was trying to stand and getting interested in walking she would pull herself up using the boxes and push empty diaper boxes across the carpet. Back and forth all day long. We didn't use a walker or anything. She started walking a week later.

Standing unassisted usually comes after walking! And walking can come anywhere between 8-20 months so you're right on track!

The perfect set up for a little climber/stander. Until we moved and set this room up she really didn’t have any furniture she could climb or stand up on. She loves it

There is a huge range for when babies start standing unassisted! It could be now or it could be months from now! No worries! Sounds like babe is right on track
