When will they do a membrane sweep?

I’ll be 37+5 at my next appt. If I asked for a sweep would I get one or is that way too early?

My doctor wouldn't do it until 39 weeks. I think it depends on their policies, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I got one today at 37+3 and she only did it because it’s not my first baby and I had to be induced with my first. I’m already 1cm dilated, 50% effaced, and she could feel his head.

It depends. I’m 38+3 with an induction scheduled Sunday. My cervix isn’t open at all for them to even offer one

I got one at 37+5 but it didn’t do anything other than give me cramps and some mucus plug loss.. that was about 4 days ago.

I got one at my 38 week appointment, she asked me if i wanted her to 🤷‍♀️ all places are different but you are past 37 weeks so they should feel comfortable doing one.
