Induced experiences?

Hello! FTM and being induced tonight due to complications. Only 1CM dilated. Can any moms share positive induction experiences?

So I was induced with my 1st and all I needed was cervidil (gel they insert) but I was rock solid. I didn’t get pitocin because my water broke about 2 hrs after it was inserted.
I was induced at 9am, water broke at 10:45am and had my daughter at 9:18pm the same day. It was smoothly but the contractions are hard to handle since they go 0-100 really quickly but I got the epidural and then basically slept all day lol

I’m currently in the process. Was 2 cm dilated when he inserted the cervidil, they monitored me for a while then sent me home. I’m supposed to come back at 9 for them to reassess and decide what to do next. Contractions haven’t been terrible so far, I definitely found them inserting the cervidal to be worse.

Same situation for me! Getting induced tomorrow morning and I’m only 1cm today. Hoping to have a good experience with it but my doc warned me that it may take awhile. Sending good vibes to you for a speedy and healthy delivery!

I was induced a week and a half ago with pitocin and it was an amazing experience. Start to finish less than 5 hours and I didn’t even need pain medicine or an epidural because it really didn’t hurt that bad. Good luck!

I’ve been induced 2 times, scheduled for my 3rd on May 20.
First with daughter, went in at 1cm dilated, started Pitocin at 5 am, waters broken at 830/9am, epidural at 1130/12, took a nap, had her at 5pm. I did have interventions after pushing for 1.5hours with no progress, forcep assisted birth. 
Second with son, went in at 2cm, process was much quicker, started Pitocin around 6am, water broken around 9am, got an epidural around 11a/12p, took a nap and had him at 230p. No complications/ interventions.
