No Braxton Hicks? 🤔

So I’m 32 wks will be 33 wks on Saturday but I still haven’t experienced any type of Braxton Hicks i wouldn’t even kno what a contraction feels like since I’m a ftm...is that normal it seems like a lot of ladies started getting them these past few wks 🤔 does this determine a longer labors?

I never had one Braxton hick my first pregnancy. It has nothing to do with how long your labor will  be

I'm almost 32 weeks and I dont think ive gotten them until last night after I did a whole bunch of cleaning and was trying to do laundry. My dr said they feel like period cramps some and the front of your abdomen tightens a lot with them. Im not 100% sure that is what I felt but if I did it only lasted for a second and then was gone.

Agree with everyone above. My midwife pointed out three times in one visit that I was having a. Contraction and I could literally not feel a thing. This is my first time having them for real and it’s my third pregnancy and it’s honestly because I’m dehydrated all the time.

I just started having them about two weeks ago, at least they started hurting then. After it hurt enough for me to be concerned and identify that that’s what they were I realized I had been having them for weeks they just didn’t hurt then so I didn’t realize it. Have you experienced your whole stomach tightening and getting really hard? If so you are probably already having them they just aren’t causing you pain so you don’t realize it.

You also may not know you’re having them! I was hospitalized last week and had to have non stress tests done and they kept asking “did you feel that contraction? Did you not feel that?” Apparently I was having several contractions and legit had no idea. Didn’t feel them at all I was so confused and I was just laying there so it’s not like I was distracted

I think it’s normal not to have them up to this point too! Or not to notice them! I have had a few when I am out for a walk but that’s it. With my first, I didn’t feel them until later in the pregnancy. I don’t know about correlation to labor time - I was in labor for a long time with my first 🤷🏼‍♀️😬😬
