Fasting numbers?
Hi ladies. So I have PCOS and insulin resistance, I'm currently 24 weeks and have my glucose test in 3 weeks. Since I'm on metformin for the insulin resistance, I've been monitoring my blood glucose levels for about 2 months. My fasting levels are usually anywhere from 92-98 with the highest being 104. I thought these numbers were good and that I was within the normal range but upon further research I've found that those numbers may be considered high. I haven't talked to my dr yet and wasn't sure if I should give her a call about this to be tested earlier for GD. Are those numbers bad, or are they only slightly high? My numbers during the day after eating are always normal it's just my fasting level that tends to be out of whack. Thanks in advance for any insight.
