Broken baby toe

Ugh so I banged my pinky toe on a chair yesterday and I’m pretty sure it either broke or for dislocated. It immediately swelled up and it was sticking out slightly more sideways than usual and bent right forward. I taped it to the other toe to hold it in place n it I was throbbing all night. It hurts so bad today and I can hardly walk on that foot. Has anyone else ever done this before? What did you do about it? Did it heal on its own and how long did that take? I have a 10 month old, and an 8 year old to look after so it’s hard to sit and relax with my feet up 😖
