Surprise shower 😭💕

I’ve been on bed rest for 8 weeks. I just was diagnosed with GD. It’s been rough, but I hit 32 weeks and couldn’t be happier as I’m high risk for preterm labour.

I didn’t really care about a shower, it would have been nice but with everything else we’ve been dealing with, it was the last thing on my mind.

Well, on Mother’s Day, I thought I was getting on a zoom call with my immediate family. Turns out, 50 family and friends had joined for my surprise virtual shower, organized by my two sisters. I immediately started crying. Had absolutely no clue it was happening. Thankfully my husband had told me to shower in the morning so I didn’t look like a mess.

My heart is so happy. Just got word from my dr that the baby weighs 4lbs. I feel like things are finally starting to go my way. I can’t wait to meet our little one.
