My rainbow baby is on the way!!!🌈

Tia

So I had a miscarriage 2 years ago at 17 weeks. I have PCOS, and that loss prompted me to change my whole lifestyle and get healthier. I ended up losing about 50 lbs. My period regulated and shortened, it was still painful but I could just feel that my body was starting to get back to normal, or how it’s suppose to operate I should say.

So I was feeling funny last week, my stomach was hurting more than usual when I’m about to come on and my breast were really sore and it just felt different. When I had my miscarriage I didn’t even know I was pregnant because I was still coming on my period and everything so I was shocked to say the least. Which made me say this time let me just go get a test just to see if that’s what’s going on. Well I took 5 tests and they all said positive!!! I made my husband go and get the tests so we were waiting on the results together. My doc sent me to get a blood pregnancy test and that confirmed that I am pregnant and the levels were high enough for me to get a sonogram to

see exactly how far along I am . Since I was still coming on my period last time I was pregnant, we couldn’t go by my last period to see how far along I am.

I personally feel like I’m 3-4 months because this is how I was feeling at that time last time I was pregnant so that’s my guess. My husband thinks I’m like 2 months so we have a bet going, whoever is closer without going over wins. My sonogram is Thursday so we will find out for sure then.

It’s exciting and scary at the same time!! Hope this brings a little hope for all you guys with pcos or just ttc that miracles can happen and sometimes you have to put in some extra work and sacrifices if it’s worth it to you. Changing my whole life and lifestyle and getting healthier and losing weight, was one of the hardest things I have ever done. It took a lot of determination, self discipline, and sacrifice but it was all worth it!! My rainbow baby is on his way!!!
