Ok so I’m having trouble changing my name for my SSN can anybody that has been through this before, after they got married explain to me in steps how it’s done I would really appreciate it . How would I go to the social security office if all of them are closed because of the COVID or would I be able to just mail them my marriage license, along with the other documents. Also does it cost to get a new social after a name change ? Last question I promise, how long did it take for you to receive yours once the paper was complete and did they give you temporary one in the mean time ?
