Feel free to talk about this subject. I don’t know why I’m afraid to introduce meat. I don’t want to start too late because I heard the longer you wait the more likely they are to be sensitive to it 🤷🏻‍♀️

We have tried most of the meat purées. He has also had ground beef, ground venison, shredded chicken, baked ham, turkey lunch meat, chicken nuggets, shrimp, polish sausage, and hot dogs. The important thing to remember is to make sure it is served and cut correctly.

We tried a chicken purée and you should have seen the faces he made.. I'm sure nothing was swallowed haha
We'll try meat again as finger food once we are ready for that stage.

My son has had homemade meat balls, shredded chicken, ground turkey & salmon. He loves it!! We’ve even given him a chicken drum stick to suck on

I feel like meat allergies aren't too common. My son has had turkey, chicken, and salmon. We're going to introduce shrimp soon to cover any shellfish allergy.

I mixed soft shredded chicken and black beans and it was a hit! Also have done ground beef in spaghetti sauce...that one was a big ol mess! We are going to try salmon cakes soon. 
The purée baby food meats smell worse than wet cat food I highly suggest staying away from those!!

We have done hamburger in things like spaghetti, tacos, sloppy joes, etc. she has has a few bites of fish and we will do chicken next.

I’m more comfortable with trying it now after giving her some more chunkier purées and scrambled eggs. I don’t want to do puréed meat- just the thought grossed me out for some reason- so I’m going to either shred it or put it in a mesh bag for her to suck on.
