When to test?

So glow has me down on the 17th to get my period. This may or may not happen because i haven't taken my medication to make me get my period (I have PCOS) because she wants me to wait to see if pregnant first before starting my next cycle. Long story short, when is the earliest I can take my pregnancy test with the thought is get my period on the 17?
