Any luck with letrozole?

Has anyone had any luck with letrozole? Is so, how long did it take to work? I’m considering going to my obgyn, and talking to her about it. But would like to hear how it worked for others.

Yea girl! 
I've been ttcing for 3yrs, had an early loss, and took ovulation tests for a year to confirm that I wasn't ovulating. I had regular periods, but never ovulation. So, I talked to my doctor and he gave me letrozole. 2.5mg, to take cd 2-6. Conceived that cycle, but again had an early loss. 
So a year went by, and I changed my diet, and the doctor prescribed me metformin (helps insulin resistance- even tho I'm not diabetic, it helps balance hormones) so I started that in September, 1000mgs once a day. 
And my doctor decided to up my letrozole to 5mgs and change the cycle days to 3-8. I took that on my October 31st, and was pregnant that cycle. And now I'm 28 weeks!!  And having a healthy pregnancy :)
So letrozole works, it induced ovulation with me both times that I took it. 
I would definitely recommend opks, and start testing everyday from cd 10 until you get your period (I just bought the cheap $1 ones) and maybe ask about metformin too, because I'm sure that helped me out.

We’ve done 3 cycles with my ob, all at 2.5 mg cd 3-7 and didn’t ovulate any of those times. Now we’re with a fertility specialist and he bumped me up to 5mg cd 5-9 and added monitoring and a trigger shot. We have our follicle scan on Friday and praying that my follies are big enough to trigger! 🤞🏻 let this be our month!
