Late period!!!!!!! When to test?

Hey everyone,

I am confused on when to test. I'm pretty sure I ovulated this month I got a peak opk. We bd for three days consecutively the day of peak and two days following. I am currently there days late and my tests are coming out negative so far. I've read online to test a week after your period is late. When did everyone test?!?!?! Should I be waiting until I'm note late? This isn't normal for me though I usually have pretty normal periods. I'm also having some pressure in lower belly feeling bloat in lower belly headaches are pretty frequent also been feeling warmer and temp is running at 99.0 which is higher than my normal. Please tell me that I may still be pregnant but too early testing! :) thanks to anyone who posts back!
