Released 24 hours after csection?

Has anyone been released 24 hours after their csection? My doctor said as long as everything goes good they are pushing to have surgery patients out as soon as possible because of corona virus. I was just wondering if anyone else had been released that quick and how it went

I’ll be staying minimum 48 hours, max if needed 72 hours.

I was released 36 hours exactly. I would have been released earlier but they decided to test all newborns for covid before they could be released and they wouldn’t do the test until she was 24 hours old. By the time they got the results it was 36 hours.

I had my csection on May 6th at 7:30am and I was released on May 7th at 2pm. They told me minimum 48hr but since I had already done everything I needed to do in ordered to be released and since baby was doing so well, they released us.

I was discharged after 48ish hours. I delivered at 10am and they didn’t even take my catheter out and make me walk until almost 1am (Spinal took longer than expected to wear off so I couldn’t feel my feet).

It’s a minimum of 48 hours here, even with corona. I stayed the full 4 days since my baby was in the nicu
