Vanishing Twin Likelihood?

Does this look really bad? Ok, so I had my 7 week 3 day ultrasound and the doctor said there were two heartbeats with one at 159 and the other at 131. All he said was one was smaller than the other but I don’t know by how much. Should I be prepared for a vanishing twin? My next ultrasound is one week away from yesterday. My last ultrasound was on Monday.

My first ultrasound looked the same way. My doc said it could go either way that early. But I am 26 weeks and have two strong babies growing. 
I think I read the entire internet trying to see what the chances are one would vanish. Most of the stories were positive.

It’s usually a lot less common for a vanishing twin to happen after a heartbeat is established. My experience with twins is one is usually smaller than the other. It might look more than it actually is on pictures just from weird angles. I wouldn’t stress.

I hope both baby’s are well!! Do you remember your HCG levels by chance?

My ultrasound looked the same for my first pregnancy. Both heart rates were strong 180’s but baby Bs heart stopped beating a week after I saw them for the first time. Its hard to say but it is possible it could end up being a vanishing twin. But stay positive! You never know which way it will go

I called them back because I had to know exactly measurements and the nurse told me it was only measuring one day smaller than the other. One was 7.84 and one was 8.79!! I feel relieved though I was actually 7+3 days but babies were only measuring 6+5 and 6+6 days. Hopefully the size of the sac in the ultrasound isn’t as concerning!!! They need to tell you this stuff instead of sending you off wondering!!!
