Rory comes from the Irish Ruadhrí, ‘rí’ means King in Irish so it’s definitely for boys🤴🏼 I like the name Rory a lot 😊

My niece is named Rory but then I also have a really close friend who named her son Rory. I personally always saw it as more of a girls name but once her son was born it seemed so fitting. Now I totally see how it can be either

Not a fan of it at all, the double R sounds in it, plus the Y, make it such an undelightful name to pronounce. I feel like I'm tripping over it or lisping whenever I say it. It's not for me.
