Do you use or recommend shopping cart seat covers?

Do you use or recommend shopping cart seat covers for little ones? I’ve been thinking about buying one but not sure if it’s something that’s really needed? 
If you didn’t buy a special cover, do you use a blanket or anything? 
My daughter is only 4 months old right now, but I’m just trying to think ahead.

I love mine. Especially now with all this virus stuff going on. ( not that I’m going out right now) but it’s nice when we do get back to going to the store eventually. Mine goes over a high chair also when we are out. It washes great and I feel like it gives her protection against all the germs on the cart or high chair.

Yes. It’s pretty cheap, and it is washable, so it keeps baby from touching the cart.

I never did the big bully ones. I have a nursing cover that works to cover car seat, high chairs, and shopping carts.

I used one with my girls, but with my son I always just used a blanket.

I got one only because my first born had an obsession with chewing on the carts and straps but now with all this virus stuff I’m glad I have one. I wash it regularly as well.
