Is chlamydia dangerous?

Guys I was diagnosed with chlamydia . The doctor gave me some antibiotics for me and my husband to take for 1 week. But I want to ask you guys is it dangerous or anything for chlamydia cause I have never heard about that

It is a sexually transmitted infection that it can be cured/clear with antibiotics. Letting infections stay in your body untreated can always be dangerous but antibiotics will clear that up.
I am sorry to say this hun, chlamydia is transferred by sexual intercourse. If you did not start in your relationship I would be questioning your husband at this time.

Is a sexually transmitted disease yes but if you got it treated then you should be ok. Chlamydia only becomes a problem when it’s untreated. If the infection is not treated it can go up to your Fallopian tubes, cause PID, scarring, and can cause ectopic pregnancies. But like I said this occurs if it’s untreated.
