Hyperthyroidism diagnosis and pregnancy

I was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. My doctor said that I will need to start medication to level out my hormones, to improve percentage of conception. She added that hyperthyroidism could make it difficult to conceive if left untreated.

Has anyone else experienced difficulty getting pregnant with thyroid issues, but later successfully conceived and carried to term?

Any advise or success stories will make me feel better ❤️.
