Hot mess to success

Kendra • Just had my twin girls on June 10th
Hey girls. So the weekend before last I decided to take the girls shopping for the first time by myself at a little consignment store I love well let me tell you how much of a disaster that was lol I had planned it out to take the urbini stroller which I can either use the basinet attachment or just attach the car seat to it also, my thought process was ill wear whichever baby is annoyed at the car seat and snap the other to the stroller and worst case scenario I'll have the basinet attachment if they both want in the stroller to lay down. Right now they can both fit in the single stroller together and like being in it together. So I leave confident I've totally got this! I was also meeting a mommy friend and her baby boy. So I get there and get one in the carrier one snapped to the stroller go to go into the store only to find there's no ramp for the huge curb! So after debating how to figure it out I finally was able to get the stroller up onto the curb but then had to push past about ten strollers they had sitting outside while hitting each one my only other option was dumbing my stroller off the curb. Trying to get in the door took me about five minutes to then get stuck on the rug inside the door my stroller was acting weird and wouldn't turn for some reason the thought of oh screw this lets just go home def crossed my mind but I was determined to make this work lol so about ten min later I'm so beyond aggravated with the damn stroller so I bend down to see is something caught in the wheel or what to find out the stroller has front brakes I never even knew where there and those were on! So I managed to get the stroller working and then I was browsing around and knelt down to look at a bottom rack when to stand up and pulled something in my leg had to use my stroller to get back up (Come to find out I actually pulled my hamstring...ouch!) Then the baby I was wearing was screaming she was tired and wanted a nap so I had to go back to the car and put both babies back in and put the basinet attachment on and put the both in the stroller this was all before my friend showed up btw lol I banged my head really hard on the car door somehow and it left a nice mark lol so then I decided to stroll them around outside because Falynn was still screaming she doesn't like sleeping anywhere but at home in her bed. My shopping buddy finally showed up and we went in to shop. Her baby was asleep the whole time while both mine were fussing. I did manage to pick out a couple things to buy but most the time was spent trying to make them happy. It was a complete mess lol So this past weekend I decided Saturday I was going to just take one baby to meet my friend again and leave one home with daddy at first I felt like omg that's not fair but after a bit more thought I realized they would both probably enjoy having the one on one time with us so I took Parker and we managed to have a great day out running around. Falynn stayed home with dad and helped him clean and fix some things around the house he said lol I did still feel bad and really missed Falynn so I decided Sunday I would take them both to the mall and meet up with my friend again and do some shopping and walk around they like going for walks but the weather here is getting to cold so the mall is our alternative. I'm so happy to say that this time everything went smoothly well as smooth as it can with two babies lol I will say that her baby sleeps everytime we are out and I don't think I have ever heard him cry once lol maybe a few little noises but that's it and at times I'm like ahh I wish mine would do that lol! There's really no point to this post other than I am extremely pleased with myself lol and wanted to tell someone that understood and I'm guessing someone here can relate! Thanks for reading lol
