9 month old suddenly stopped eating solids
Girls, I have no idea what to do. My 9 month old son, who was an amazing eater gradually stopped eating solids. We started at 5.5 months, he ate cereals and purees happily. Then he started getting fussy and fighting with me to hold the spoon so I gave him his own spoon and we had fun, he was learning how to eat. Then, suddenly he got bored of the spoon and started throwing it on the floor. Along with his bowl and anything on his way. So I thought it was time to switch to mashed food. He hated it so much, I had to stop. He started screaming at the sight of a bowl and a spoon. So we switched to finger foods and BLW for these last 3 days. He likes bread, cereal, yogurt. Nothing else. I made meatballs with veal and potatoes inside them yesterday and he ate just a sixth part of 1 meatball. I spread the rest on bread and he ate it. Today I offered him chicken meatballs and he did not even touch them. He ate just a little bread and that’s it. During his next feeding I offered him 5 types of carrots (puree, mashed, finger food carrot, carrot puree with pasta, mashed carrot with pasta). He did not touch any. went straight to sleep and after 8 hours of being hungry still refused any meat or veggies so I gave him cereal. I’m really nervous about this. He hates purees and he does not eat finger foods. Just throws everything on the floor.
Do you know what I can do? Maybe some advice? I want him to have a healthy diet, he used to eat all the goodies with pleasure but now it is becoming a dreadful experience
