How many bottles a day of formula???

He just turned one, how many do you all do at this age?

Baby should be on formula at all, but on whole milk at that age. We do 2 bottles of 5 oz and an 8 oz bottle before bed.

Mine turns 1 in a few days. His formula intake has been varying day to day. Some days he has 4 bottles for a total of 24oz, some days only 2 bottles for a total of 14oz. I’m following his lead, he tells me when he wants a bottle. I’ll start putting milk in them next weekend.

My son just turned one. Because of his size in height we needed him to put on some weight so he is going to continue formula. So my son has 3-4 oz bottles a day and we also offer 2 oz of formula every meal in a sippy. This was all by his pediatrician's recommendations. 
I am raising a giant and he could easily out eat me every day on solid foods lol. Just because of his size we have to keep the fat on him. Also he is extremely active. My son is the same size as a friends 3 year old and larger tben his 2 year old cousins lol.

We’re finishing our can of formula and then switching to whole milk after confirming with his doctor that he’s able to (were concerned about his weight gain/lack of eating normal foods no matter what we’ve tried) Right now he has about 24oz of formula a day. One 8oz bottle after each meal. He turned 1 on Friday.

My daughter turned one on the 3rd and since then we’ve only been doing one 5oz bottle of formula right before bed to use it up. She gets all her daily nutrient needs met by actual food and whole milk throughout the day. Her pediatrician said that’s exactly what needs to be done after a year old (but said continuing to do some breastfeeding is fine too of course.)

We do three bottles and he’ll take between 6-8oz each, so 18-24oz a day. We’ll likely drop the middle of the day bottle in the next month or two and then switch the morning and evening to sippy cups of regular milk.
